The Face Mask

Sorry for my lack of blogging my fellow bloggers. It's fall and i'm surprised the fact that I haven't been star strucked or inspired lately....kind of makes me sad. But what I have to blog about now is something that really caught my attention. (:
Tyra Banks, whom always shines and always looks like a million bucks, especially her dressed in this encrusted diamond strapless black gown, flaunting along a black mesh fishnet face mask for the Paris Vogue masked ball. I saw this on the news and it totally caught my attention. I 'm sure that there are individuals out there who may think that what Tyra pulled off was absolutely weird or possibly even, hideous? But, I personally, LOVED it on her. She just has the perfect shape of a  head for it. ;-)
This is something I would attempt to try on, but maybe not to wear for a day & night out. Possibly Halloween, I'll pull a face mask off, eh?
I remembered back in 2006 Viktor & Rolf had all their models strut down the runway with basket-weave fencing masks. Obviously, it wasn't a "caught-on" trend accessory at all. Perhaps, this may be the inspiration that Tyra got it from, hmm....?

Envision Fall 2010

A few photos from the Envision Fall 2010 fashion show.
It was a lot of work that was totally worth it, and yes, I had an awesome time, as well!
I miss seeing the girls and models that I worked with.
Met Christopher Straub, from Project Runway. He absolutely a very talented
individual and was super cool  to talk and take photos with.
At last, I am now home laying on my comfy bed and feels sooo nice to just
rest and feel relaxed, after all the running around in my 4 1/2 inch heels.

Enjoy bloggers! =)

Christopher Straub.
My lovely Vivian ♥ She truly is a wonderful designer.

The glamorous Davee. (:

Ignite Model; Tierra. She was great to work with. I love her

CITY WALKING

Yes, Fall is basically here, but, whoever said that you have to put the shorts away?
Apparently, I can still wear them as long as I keep my legs covered and warm :)

Biaggi's ♥

These are some late pictures from my dear friend Vicki's b-day, that I forgot to post up.
We did a little birthday celebration for her at a friend's house and then headed out
to this Italian restaurant called, Biaggi's.
This restaurant is very nice and fancy; I love go to places like this.
I'm a huge fancy person.
Indeed, I was very excited to go because I hadn't had Italian food in soooo long!
The food was delicious and sooo full-filling and the prices was not that bad, either.
Overall, I enjoyed dinner with the birthday girl and with some of my great friends.
One of my fav. dish out there; The Calamari ♥ MmmmMmm

Ended the night off with a few drinks.

GAP welcomes Fall.

I absolutely LOVE the GAP. And what I love more is our Fall collection
snippet that just came in about a 2 weeks ago.
It is sooo tempting to not buy the products that my heart
rushes for. I need to save my money, like, reeeeaallyyy baaad. I've been
a shopaholic lately, and personally, money has been super tight for me.
Ahhhh. But so far, the collection is very bold and classic,
keeping it very GAP Signature. The styles are more to
be worn around the clock for a day in at the office, to a
night out with friends. You'll definitely have to come
see the collection for yourself though and if you do by
any chance -- I hope you like it as much as I. :)
Moving on, on September 28th, we'll be getting more products for
our Fall collection, and my GM says that it is going to be a 'SURPRISE',
even, she doesn't have a clue about it. So, i'm really looking forward to the
28th of September!!

Anyways, I got these photos from the Gap website, and I decided to do a fun collage.

Rain & Bold Hues.

Dear August,
You've been raining too much....

Whoot-Whoot for MK! ♥

If I had to choose any fashionista icon, that definitely would have to be Mary-Kate. I grew up adoring and I still adore her now. Her style is timeless, effortless, and even though it's a little dangerous to play with fashion, she dresses up with confidence, and I admire that about her! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the way she dresses. She looks gorgeous in these photos :)

Love her shoes!

She's gorgeous! She looks so serene and I love her lips! <3

LOVE the shape of her silhouette! So sharp and powerful.

C O L O U R :)
And ohhh the antlers, lol. Totally confidence!

Interview Magazine: Megan Fox.

I finally looked into checking out the magazine and what it features. I enjoy reading and browsing though it. It has a lot of pictures which I like, because usually, I don't really read the text in magazine. I'm always flipping through the pages and looking at pictures. But the magazine has some good stuff. I'm considering if I should subscribe to it, but then again, I'm already subscribed to Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Nylon & W magazines and the sad thing is, I hardly read and touch them. I browse through the magazine and then I don't ever read or touch it again. I'm just soooo busy that I don't have the time. My basket where I keep my magazines is looked overflowed and I keep needing to get more to stock them. I'm sooo wasting my money though. But we will seee.
What actually caught my attention to open up Interview Magazine is Megan Fox. I'm not the biggest fan of her, but I honestly could not stop staring at the photos of her and her self-mannequin that the directors of Interview Magazine provided for her as her photoshoot prop. I think she looks remarkably gorgeous! It was an interesting shoot, and for some reason, I always like to read about her. Maybe it's because I don't know her as much. And I mean "know" as in read, hear, see her very much in the media. She sure knows how to keep her distance from Hollywood scene. She seems like a very grounded person, which I like.
Though I think it might be sort of creepy having a mannequin that looks just like you, I think it'd be cool to have one of my own, someday. I want a younger version of me, that way, when I grow old, I can look back at myself on a Mannequin and not just through old photos. ;)
