Red Amour

These photos were taken a few weeks ago. Just been too lazy to update them on here. Sorry for lagging so much my fellow followers.
I was bored one day and decided to doll up a bit. I didn't want to to overdue myself. So I took out this red dress that I purchased from Urban Outfitters and  I haven't worn in years, probably only wore twice in my life.
I did a side braid and decided to top it off with my black bowler hat that I love, but hardly ever wear it! Lol.
Of course, I can never go with a day with out red lipstick on, unless it's lazy Sundays ;)

Fashion NOW: Fashion Fright Night

I am way over due -- life has been a roller coaster; lots of ups and downs, and really, just extremely busy.
I apologize for my lack of blogging; I absolutely am deprived of it. With having some weight off my shoulders, here I am blogging again. I don't even know or remember how long it has been, but it feels nice to blog and just reminence about great times that had happen and gone by.
October 27 -- The night of Fashion NOW: Fashion Fright Night event produced by the famous and brilliant man, Richard Moody, event producer/coordinator and fashion designer, which was held at the Fine Line Cafe in downtown Minneapolis, MN. Also music dj'd from my favorite radio station, 96.3!
Everyone came out with their fashionable swagger. It was a pretty eventful night of fashion, great music, socializing, and just hanging out with great friends and get to be seated front row!

Here are few photos from the night:

Currently. . .

I am obsessed with the camel colour and the of course, THE COAT. It is indeed the one thing that is on my wishlist right now that I really, really, reallyyyy want, besides a new digital camera and a watch.
So since I am not able to invest in one right now and hopefully soon I will, I decided to do some online browsing and create a fun collage for the motherfucking hell of it ;)

However, on the brighter side, I did order a new pair of heels designed by Hive & Honey from Piperlime.com; one of my favorite online shop & most of the time, I only buy items on sale or clearance, cause i'm cheap like that. As you can see, it is an almond coloured shoe with a strap that go behind the ankle, and has thick wooden clog heel, and is also open toed. What I love about this show is that it is simple, yet very very chic. You can absolutely wear this shoe day in or night out. Wear it socks, nylon/stockings, j/leggings, skinnys, short/long dresses & skirts. I say this shoe has a lot of versatility & I cannot wait til I get this!!

Choppy 101

This is just an experience; i'm here on earth to have experiences.
Nothing is wrong.
My higher self knows what is going on.
This situation is for my benefit, even if I can't see that now.
My fears may come true, but the outcome will not destroy me.
It may be very good.
I'll wait and see.
I'm having a strong reaction now, but isn't the real me.
It will pass.
What i'm afraid of losing is meant to go.
I will be better off when new energies come in.
Whatever fear says, nothing can destroy me.
When people fall, they don't break. They bounce.
Change is inevitable; resisting change doesn't work.
There is something here for me, If I have the awareness to find it.
The things I fear the most have already happened.
I don't want to hold on anymore.
My purpose is to let go, and welcome what is to come.
Life is on my side.
I am loved; therefore, I am safe.

The Face Mask

Sorry for my lack of blogging my fellow bloggers. It's fall and i'm surprised the fact that I haven't been star strucked or inspired lately....kind of makes me sad. But what I have to blog about now is something that really caught my attention. (:
Tyra Banks, whom always shines and always looks like a million bucks, especially her dressed in this encrusted diamond strapless black gown, flaunting along a black mesh fishnet face mask for the Paris Vogue masked ball. I saw this on the news and it totally caught my attention. I 'm sure that there are individuals out there who may think that what Tyra pulled off was absolutely weird or possibly even, hideous? But, I personally, LOVED it on her. She just has the perfect shape of a  head for it. ;-)
This is something I would attempt to try on, but maybe not to wear for a day & night out. Possibly Halloween, I'll pull a face mask off, eh?
I remembered back in 2006 Viktor & Rolf had all their models strut down the runway with basket-weave fencing masks. Obviously, it wasn't a "caught-on" trend accessory at all. Perhaps, this may be the inspiration that Tyra got it from, hmm....?

Envision Fall 2010

A few photos from the Envision Fall 2010 fashion show.
It was a lot of work that was totally worth it, and yes, I had an awesome time, as well!
I miss seeing the girls and models that I worked with.
Met Christopher Straub, from Project Runway. He absolutely a very talented
individual and was super cool  to talk and take photos with.
At last, I am now home laying on my comfy bed and feels sooo nice to just
rest and feel relaxed, after all the running around in my 4 1/2 inch heels.

Enjoy bloggers! =)

Christopher Straub.
My lovely Vivian ♥ She truly is a wonderful designer.

The glamorous Davee. (:

CITY WALKING

Yes, Fall is basically here, but, whoever said that you have to put the shorts away?
Apparently, I can still wear them as long as I keep my legs covered and warm :)

I thought I needed to do a photo update. Not the newest of me, but it still me :)

This is a boring post.
