Paris IT Bag

Everywhere I go, I see Longchamp bags being carried by every one on the streets of Paris. I remember during Paris's SOLDES weeks that was in January, I was shopping at Printemps and walked across a super long line outside of the handbag store. It was definitely an IT trend in Paris .I really like the simplicity of it...Wish I could afford myself one.

These are three of my favorite colors that the Longchamp handbags come in.
Classic & Timeless <3

Leather shorts = the New Denim.

Leather's not just for jackets any more: step into spring with so-now shorts.
A few years back leather was considered a rough material that sets you through the “bad guys” but the times have evolved and leather doesn’t say rock anymore, even if it rocks more fashionable than it used to. Although some still haven’t changed their apprehension about this style, we need to break the rules and look fabulous, feminine and extremely hot while wearing leather sexy shorts.
Love 'em or leave 'em, but it's undeniable that leather shorts are a big time trend. Lately, i've been seeing them all over the places from the streets of Paris to Barcelona, on the runways from 2010 and 2011, as well as to bloggers  and celebs who are even wearing them.

One Unforgettable Day

Today, as of March 8th,2011, was truly an amazing day! It was definitely worth waking up at 7am while having literally 4 hours of sleep only, AND missing class. I attended the CHANEL F/W 2011 show, and no -- I didn't go inside. But it was absolutely wonderful enough to be able to be outside and be about 5 feet away from well-known people; actors, actresses, singers, entertainers, models, etc.

The show was supposedly to have started at 10:30 am, but I'm really starting to think and believe that there's some kind of rule for you to be "fashionably late" Attendees, especially, the celebritys are always late and so is the show itself. Therefore, the show really didn't start til about 11am, and it didn't end til 30 minutes after. I got a great spot to take photos and i'm so content with them! Also, if you know me, I am absolutely in LOVEEE with Alexa Chung! She is my favorite style icon. Just seeing her made my hear skip a beat, haha. She's so gorgeous and what she wore is sooo her. I still can't believe I got to see her. AMAZING it was!

My girlfriends and I waited 2 1/2 hours just for Karl Lagerfield to come out. You have no idea how many times I felt like leaving...but I mean, it's an opportunity for myself, and I didn't want to just let that slip. I was there and i've waited for countless hours, I'm going to stay. He didn't come out til 2pm....and unfortunately, he was in a car. I was hoping for him to actually walk out and go inside his ride. Maybe a tad bit disappointed, but i'm still very happy to have stayed to see him wave at his fans, while smiling so gleefully!! It really was the cutest thing ever on Karl!! :)) Too bad I couldn't get a photo; didn't have my camera ready and out on time. I'm soooo disappointed at myself. But it's not the end. I'm promising myself that I'm going to meet him later in life; that is, if he's still alive. ;)

But, that's not the end of the story. The greatest highlight of my day was meeting former Editor-at-large of American Vogue, Andre Leon Talley!! If you don't know who he is, he was in Anna Wintour's Vogue documentary "The September Issue." But really, he was so kind to say 'Hi' to my friends & I and take photos with us. It felt so warm just being hugged/held next to him in his black cloak. He also gave my friend, Madelaine & I, a Chanel Program (basically a lookbook of Chanel F/W) as a gift. BEST SOUVENIR, I shall say!! I'm so going to remember this day!

Saddle-Up shoes

The oxford doesn't show any signs of going away for spring, but it's time to say hi to the next wave of lace-ups: fifties-inspired saddle shoes.
In their most traditional form, saddle shoes come in black-and-white, but designers are giving us some other options for spring in tri-tone styles like these Vans, above, rich browns and even hints of color. How cute would saddle shoes be on the weekend with your jeans or, the girly way, with a pair of tights and a casual little dress? Not to mention, they look insanely comfortable—always a plus in my book.

On-the-go Pull-overs

Here in Paris, i've noticed and seen capes and ponchos every where worn on girls, I just had to get myself one.  They are definitely the new [euro chic] wardrobe staple. Whether cropped or long, a multitude of variations of the cape and poncho walked the runways dating back from A/W 2010 and still IN to this day. Equal parts chic and cozy, this is the perfect answer for what to wear until you’re ready for warm winter coats.

Here is I in my nude brown cozy sweater-like poncho <3 I've yet to get myself a cape!!

Bonjour to the Eiffel Tower, again! :)

Feb 28, after walking around for hours, spending time looking  at the wonderful works of art the Musee du Lourve comprises, my girlfriends & I decided to make a trip to see the Eiffel Tower UP-CLOSE. We had no sense of direction how to get there by metro, so we walked. It was pretty crazy, and that day was just ridiculously cold. We walked probably more than 1,000 or so blocks. I also had no coat or jacket on except my oversized sweater that I got at Pull & Bear while I was visiting Milan, Italy. At least it was bulky enough to keep somewhat warm. Thank goodness, I haven't got sick. (:
I also love and enjoy gazing the Eiffel Tower. It's such a beautiful piece of monument. I was totally take away while being literally 5 feet away from it. It was amazing!!

Graphic Black & White.

Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel, Sarah Burton in her Alexander McQueen debut, and Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy all played classics black and white off of each other, creating twisted tuxedos of sorts that skewed gothic (Givenchy), a bit rococo (McQueen) and ladylike with an edge (Chanel).

Swirl like Braids.

Braids are definitely IN again. Lately, i've seen a lot of girls with braids, whether it be a side braid, a pony-tail braided, or braided top-knot, they're every where. You can never go wrong with wearing braids, you just got to know how to wear it. Plus, it's quick to do, and it's easy. Best part is, you can wear it on the go.
